easy to open, offers an interest of 7% upon 

maturity and withdrawal and has no ledger fees.

  • Allows you to save within the year up to 

    November.

  • You can withdraw all your savings and start 

    afresh thereafter.

  • A 7% interest rate paid on withdrawal.

  • Statements every quarter.

  • No hidden charges.


Eligibility

  • One has to be a member of Utabibu Sacco

  • One has to fill a Holiday Savings Plan application 

    form.

  • Current payslip.


Rules

  • Termination of savings before November one 

    automatically forfeits the interest

  • A notice period of 1 month required

  • Minimum savings Ksh. 1, 000 per month

  • Cash/Cheque/Direct transfers are acceptable for 

    the savings.
