Utabibu Savings and Credit Cooperative Society was incorporated under the Cooperative Societies Act Cap 490 in October 1974.
It started with 50 members for the express purpose of providing members with cheap loans against their shares.In 2001, the SACCO opened its doors to other Aga Khan affiliated institutions. Its membership therefore is drawn from the Aga Khan University Hospital- Nairobi as well as Aga Khan Schools which include Nairobi Academy, Nairobi Junior academy, Nairobi Nursery, Nairobi Primary, Aga Khan Education services, Path Care and Aga Khan Microfinance.

The Utabibu 2012 AGM
to be held on Saturday 27th April, 2013 from 8.30 am at the Aga Khan University
Hospital's Lecture theatre.
Lunch and drinks will be served.
A variety of loan products are available to serve members needs at competitive rates. These and other new products are developed from time to time based on careful research and demand.
A member must have saved for at least six consecutive months to qualify for any loan product.
